DIY cute hairbow

I made this tartan bow few days ago and I thought it was pretty cute so I decided to show you know to make it yourself! it was super easy and took about half an hour in total. You can attach it to a bobble or clip, I pinned mine to my hair with kirby grips and it stayed in all day pretty well. Let me know if you try it! :) 

OOTD | Sheer Black Maxi Dress

So last week I was on holiday in Spain (my excuse for the lack of posts- sorry!) and we visited puerto buenos, a posher area in spain; this meant I needed a posher dress- any excuse to buy a new dress is good enough for me. I picked this dress up in the sales in Miss Selfridge before I went away, it was only £20! I was so happy with it, at such a reasonable price I thought it was simple but unique. Because the dress is quite dressed up I kept the jewelry simple, with my silver heart necklace (Tiffany&co), a couple of bracelets (New Look and Inherited through family) and my nude slouch bag (River Island). 

OOTD | Moon t-shirt and leggings 

Last weekend I went to the maize maze with my friend (it's kind of a yearly tradition). I decided to wear this brandy melville moon t-shirt, which I've seen featured on websites like tumblr and weheartit frequently, with topshop velvet leggings, and my brandy melville khaki jacket, which I wear all the time. To accessorize I wore my gold h&m chunky chain and my topshop studded bag, and my flatform all star converse with leopard print laces I bought from urban outfitters. Unfortunately the weather was off/on rainy so just after these were taken it chucked it down with rain meaning we both got soaked through, thats when I discovered this coat isn't exactly waterproof but it was still a good day.
